General Membership Meetings provide members with an opportunity to get up to speed with what is happening at the HBA of the Grand Traverse Area, discuss industry related information, garner new ideas and reconnect with colleagues. Plus, we have a lot of fun!
Meetings take place 8 times per year and hosted by an HBAGTA member at their business location or location of choice.
2017 General Membership Meeting Locations
February 13th – Preston Feather – Members toured the new showroom and took part in the Annual HBA Chili Cook-Off!
March 13th – ETNA Infusion Kitchen & Bath – Celebrated St. Patrick’s Day in their new showroom with terrific food, treats and door prizes!
April 10th – Blarney Castle Backyard Basics – Members enjoyed an outdoor BBQ, witnesses deserving students accept HBA Community Foundation Scholarships and left with a goodie bag!
May 8th – Pella Windows & Doors – Annual Membership Awards Ceremony. Nominees were recognized and award winners presented with plaques.
September 11th – Lake Michigan Credit Union is hosting the meeting @ The Filling Station. Members will have a chance to tour a Habitat for Humanity Depot Neighborhood home.
October 9th – Westwind Construction is hosting the meeting @ their Ridge45 Community Center . This meeting is also the Annual Meeting of the Membership and Board Election!
November 13th – Kiss Carpet is hosting the meeting. Meeting location to be announced.
It’s time to sign up for 2018!
- Ask vendors or suppliers to co-host the meeting. Offer to set up a 6 ft. table for the vendor/supplier to exhibit and give them the microphone for a quick introduction of their business and products.
- Request the vendor/supplier provide door prizes
- If your business location is too small or not conducive for a large group, work with the HBA office staff to identify an alternative location.
